Its A New Season

Happy Spring to all my beautiful South African friends!

"Its a new season, its a new day
A fresh anointing is flowing your way
Its a season of power and prosperity
Its a new season!"

Its Autumn this side of the world or rather Fall as the Americans say...which means beautiful cool mornings and the hope of what new seasons bring. Irrespective of it being sandwiched between heatstroke and frostbite I plan to make the best of this very short season and enjoy the little things.  Sit in the park and read while the sun is still out. Take walks in the park on Saturdays and just embrace this gift called LIFE!

I woke up on September 1st and had a huge smile on my face, my belly was burning with excitement,I felt at peace and gave thanks to the Almighty for all that He has done for me and for all that He will continue to do in my life. There's definitely something exciting about a new day/week/month/season/year. Every new day is a brand new opportunity to do what you never did the previous day, how awesome is that?!

September, marks exactly 6 months living in the USA.  I cannot believe how quick time has gone by#WOW  I can vividly remember my folks and friends bidding me farewell at the airport, working at the party store etc. and I smile when I look at my life now#blessed

I have decided to put together a to-do list of all the things I would like to do for the remainder of my stay in the USA.  I do not just want to jot them down in a journal but ACTIVELY DO THEM and make them a priority in my life, so here goes...

1.  Listen more and speak less especially when it comes to God
2.  Write down 5 things I'm grateful for EVERYDAY
3.  Spend LESS and SAVE more
4.  Decide on what I want to study next year#sighs
5.  Plan a trip to visit Conceptia before heading back to SA
6.  After "No Strings Attached" I've decided I NEED to be part of a flashmob
7.  One evening a week, no fb/twitter/bbm/work JUST DO ME
8.  Perfect the skill of eating with chopsticks#iknowright!!
9.  Blog weekly.
10. Watch what I eat and exercise

Any of you have a to-do list you would like to achieve between now and December?

Ecclesiastes 3v1-22 reminds us that for everything there is a season, I urge you to go read the mentioned chapters or the whole book if you wish.

I pray the season ahead will bring you joy, love, peace, good health and prosperity. May the Almighty continue to bless you abundantly and exceedingly. If there is ANYTHING that you are waiting for God on, this is it! This is your season. Wait upon Him and He will not disappoint you.

This is one of my favourite songs by Deitrick Haddon, titled He's Able.  Be blessed!

What a lovely post sis :) I couldn't agree more about the endless blessings this year has brought. May this season be the beginning of an extension of past joys and the birth of new and even greater beginnings.

I am specifically excited to see you achieve goals 3, 4 and 7 (think I might adopt 7 too, I like that idea).

Cant believe its been 6 months already...time flies!! Blame it on technology :)

Seasons blessings, enjoy the beauty that always comes with "fall" :)

Love you lots <3
