Carrie: Later that day I got to thinking about relationships. There are those that open you up to something new and exotic, those that are old and familiar, those that bring up lots of questions, those that bring you somewhere unexpected, those that bring you far from where you started, and those that bring you back. But the most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you can find someone to love the you you love, well, that's just fabulous.
We started our day with a Sex And The City Tour
Waiting to get on the bus
Carrie: No matter who broke your heart, or how long it takes to heal, you'll never get through it without your friends.
I love you Gal xoxox
Our tour guide Lindsey, very funny and the coolest!!
No! We did not purchase Mr Rabbit, he was rather pricey!
The restaurant that Carrie and Big had their rehearsal dinner...
When Miranda tells Big they are stupid to get married!!
The whole room is red, bold and beautiful
It almost has a Kong Roast ambiance
This is where they dined
This is the bakery that Carrie and Miranda devoured some cup cakes
This is the part where Carrie tells Miranda she has a CRUSH on Aiden
and that Big was a CRASH!! LOL
It would have been soooo cool had we sat down outside
the store just like Carrie and Miranda LOL
Outside Aiden and Steve's Bar
In the movie the name of the bar is called Scout
Inside the bar...we were offered Cosmopolitans before noon SMH!!
The gym that Miranda goes to and complains about it being family hour
The Starbucks that Carrie interviews Jennifer Hudson for an Assistant position
There were plenty other places that we went to but we were unable to take pics as we were sitting on the opposite side. The tour is 3.5hours and definitely worth every penny. I recommend all the SATC fans to take advantage of the tour when visiting the Big Apple.
After the tour, Tshego did some last minute shopping, then headed to Sylvia's Queen of Soul Food Restaurant in Harlem. Unfortunately we didn't have our cameras with us, as we had forgotten them at the apartment. However, this is the best soul food place I've ever eaten at. Please check out the website for more information http://www.sylviassoulfood.com/
After our very delicious dinner, we headed back to the apartment...suffering from "niggaritis" we took a nap, woke up later, freshened up and got ready to meet up with Lerato and Kwezi at La Poisson Rouge.
The streets were buzzing
As you've noticed, I'm not in any of the pics....I had forgotten my ID at the apartment and had to go back to fetch it#rme!! I spent a good 2hours stuck in traffic but managed to get back and party a little with the girls before we all had to leave. A great evening was enjoyed by all.
Stay Blessed xoxo
